My Approach to Helping
I am dedicated to helping clients of all ages build a deeper understanding and acceptance of themselves while navigating life’s challenges. I work entirely online, offering a supportive and creative space where clients can explore their emotions, mental health, and engage in self-discovery. While I often use expressive therapies like art, music, and storytelling, I tailor my approach to each client, always prioritizing their needs and preferences.
Drawing from somatic and expressive therapy principles, I encourage clients to connect with their inner world, fostering healing and growth through an awareness of the mind-body connection. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients gain clarity about their thoughts and emotions, supporting positive change and resilience. My work spans all ages, but I have a particular focus on guiding teens and young adults through life transitions, identity exploration, and challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Utah Valley University. During my studies, I worked with diverse populations at the Utah County Jail and the Children’s Justice Center, which shaped my holistic and personalized approach to therapy.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, discovering new interests, and making art. I love connecting with friends and family and am always up for a creative project. I am currently living in Taiwan, where I continue to embrace new cultural experiences and inspirations for my work. Whether it’s through art, new adventures, or a good scary movie, I thrive on creativity and connection.
