My Approach to Helping
I provide both individual and couples therapy. I utilize a variety of different therapy techniques that include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and faith-based practices. My specialties include working with depression, anxiety, adjustment conditions, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), and person-centered counseling.
I enjoy working with populations who want more for their lives but aren't sure how to get there. It is important to be able to live the life you want. A life that brings you joy and fulfillment. A life that holds the possibility of supportive and understanding relationships. I have found psychotherapy to be a powerful tool to help people deepen their understanding of self and develop tools to live a life full of choices.
