My Approach to Helping
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, confused, or hopeless? Transformation within yourself and your relationships is possible. Therapy can help you better access feelings of connection, support, belonging, balance, and a sense of meaningful purpose.
My work is focused on helping couples, individuals, and families overcome emotional obstacles that prevent deep connection, safety, and fulfilling collaboration. I utilize mainly Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and can explain how these approaches may work for you and your relationship.
I welcome diversity of all kinds and I am ever mindful of the stigma that can accompany mental health concerns and personal struggles. To support a sense of safety and belonging, I strive to provide therapy from a stance of non-judgmental acceptance.
I have a Master of Arts Degree in Marital and Family Therapy at Alliant International University within the California School of Professional Psychology. I also participate in ongoing, intensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Additionally, I have completed extensive Substance Use & Dependence coursework through UC San Diego.
I look forward to meeting and working with you!
