My Approach to Helping
I treats both individuals and couples utilizing the latest in evidence-based practices. Specifically, I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, depression, anger, stress management, trauma, and sport-performance psychology. I am also well-versed in the psychological assessment of psychopathology, personality, intelligence, and other areas. I conduct evaluations for court, pre-surgery, immigration issues, emotional support animals, and other forensics. Most importantly, I am committed to helping my clients live meaningful, values-driven lives with peace.
More Info About My Practice
Dr. Michael Ferenschak is the Assistant Director of Hopewell Springs Counseling Center. He is a Licensed Psychologist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Dr. Ferenschak has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Rowan University and at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Ferenschak earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from La Salle University. He also completed a fellowship at the VA Maryland Health Care System with a focus on evidence-based treatment of PTSD and trauma. Dr. Ferenschak has been a co-author on multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented research at several professional conferences.
