My Approach to Helping
Anxious? Depressed? Frustrated? Lack of motivation?
Do you question your life's purpose, what brings you joy, and why achieving it is such a struggle? Are your relationships always a challenge? Do you find yourself repeating patterns that consistently don't work? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?
I engage with my clients via telehealth, in an open conversational manner to assist them in identifying and addressing the source of these concerns, and to decrease their symptoms so that they can get more joy out of life and have fuller more meaningful relationships.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, skilled in working with adults who struggle with mood conditions and addiction. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I use an eclectic insight-oriented approach using both relational and cognitive behavioral theory.
I believe the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship forged by client and therapist and I provide a nonjudgmental and safe environment in which we can explore and solve issues collaboratively.
