My Approach to Helping

Anxious? Depressed? Frustrated? Lack of motivation?

Do you question your life's purpose, what brings you joy, and why achieving it is such a struggle? Are your relationships always a challenge? Do you find yourself repeating patterns that consistently don't work? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?

I engage with my clients via telehealth, in an open conversational manner to assist them in identifying and addressing the source of these concerns, and to decrease their symptoms so that they can get more joy out of life and have fuller more meaningful relationships.

I am a licensed clinical social worker, skilled in working with adults who struggle with mood conditions and addiction. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I use an eclectic insight-oriented approach using both relational and cognitive behavioral theory.

I believe the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship forged by client and therapist and I provide a nonjudgmental and safe environment in which we can explore and solve issues collaboratively.

FAQ
1. What can I expect in my first session?
In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding your goals, concerns, and what you’d like to achieve through therapy. It’s an open and conversational space where you can share as much as you’re comfortable with. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan tailored to your needs.

2. What types of issues do you specialize in?
I work with adults, couples, and seniors to address a variety of challenges, including:
• Anxiety and depression
• Relationship struggles
• Stress management
• Addiction recovery
• Life transitions
• Self-esteem and confidence building
• Work-life balance
Whether you’re seeking individual therapy or couples counseling, my goal is to help you build healthier relationships, reduce stress, and achieve greater fulfillment.

3. Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance. However, I offer a sliding scale to make therapy more affordable based on your financial situation. I also provide superbills, for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

4. Do you offer telehealth sessions?
Yes, I offer secure video sessions for clients who prefer the convenience of meeting remotely.

5. How long are therapy sessions?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes. This allows us to explore concerns deeply while ensuring time for reflection and planning actionable next steps.

6. How often will we meet?
The frequency of sessions depends on your goals. Weekly or bi-weekly sessions work best, especially at the start of therapy. As we progress we can address accordingly.

7. What is your therapeutic approach?
I use an eclectic approach, combining cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and relational behavioral therapy to address your concerns holistically. My focus is on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space working to uncover patterns, build resilience, and achieve lasting change.

8. What are your fees?
• Initial session: $275 (50min)
• Ongoing sessions: $200–$275 (50min)
