My Approach to Helping
Great to meet you! My name is Michael T. Hester, LPC, LCDC, LVN, NCC, CCS, SAPR VA, D-SAACP Level II, and I am an Expert People Developer (EPD) with over 25 years of experience in the helping field. In addition to being a psychotherapist, I am a nurse, educator, and disabled military veteran. I completed the Air Assault School at the home of the 101st Airborne Division. I served honorably during peacetime and periods of war while assigned to the 86th Evacuation Hospital, Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
My approach to therapy is energetic, interactive, and solution-focused. Although I specialize in Adlerian therapeutic techniques, complementary methodologies are integrated to offer a highly personalized and holistic approach to therapy. What can clients expect to take away from sessions? Our team's primary areas of focus: Depression, anxiety, stress, and anger management; occupation and workplace issues; adjustment and alcohol and substance abuse disorders; military lifestyle challenges; and family concerns.
My client focus is adolescents, adults, and seniors. More of my specialties are PTSD, Men's Issues, Grief, Loss, Anxiety, Stress, Anger Management, Substance Abuse, and Relationship Issues.
I am an energetic, interactive, and solution-focused psychotherapist. With joy, compassion, and understanding you will be supported on your personal growth journey.
I am a servant leader and find my joy in helping others.
