My Approach to Helping
As research indicates that the most important factor in psychotherapy may be the alliance between client and therapist, it makes sense why any individual, couple, or family would reflect heavily on this aspect of their search.
Whether short-term or longer-term goals, the results include improved insight, increased awareness, better behavior patterns, and more satisfying relationships. Theory, philosophy, as well as evidence-based practices inform each session toward positive outcomes.
I am honored to work on behalf of a diverse group of individuals, couples, and families from a myriad of different cultural backgrounds, religious beliefs, sexual orientations, gender identities, relational affiliations, and socio-economic classifications.
I’ve worked on behalf of professionals from the arts (actors, writers, musicians), entertainment (directors, executives, producers), real estate (agents, developers), academia (educators, researchers, students), medicine (doctors, nurses, clinicians), technology (start-ups, FB, SC, google), as well as entrepreneurs of all types - since prior to 2010.
More Info About My Practice
I enjoy working with clients to: improve relationship issues; make decisions and mitigate stressors brought on by life transitions (even positive change can bring about unique challenges); cope with chronic illness; work through bereavement, grief, loss, break-ups and divorce; resolve general or acute anxiety and depression; enhance sexuality and resolve sexual problems.
Whatever the issues are in your life - including your related behavioral patterns of concern - the goals are the same: ameliorate pain and suffering to accept and respect who you are, in order to unlock your potential and live your best life.
