My Approach to Helping
It can be hard to quiet your mind. Maybe you put other's needs in front of your own, leaving little space for yourself. You want to connect with those around you, but it's hard to stop the buzzing feeling that takes over. Some moments feel ok, but in others you feel emotions you can't explain. Despite your achievements, sometimes it just doesn't feel like enough. Do you sometimes feel broken and wonder if it is just you? If it feels time for something to change, you don't have to do it alone.
More Info About My Practice
I help navigate anxiety, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem and identity. My clients understand themselves at a deeper level and acquire confidence to be their authentic selves. I believe therapy is about bringing awareness to your emotions, thoughts and actions. Once you understand what is happening within you and how those patterns got there, you gain freedom. You can choose how you want to respond to stressors, change how you interact with yourself, and heal from past experiences.
My Role as a Therapist
I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and I pull from multiple theories and techniques to meet your individual needs. It's possible to move beyond old wounds, to care for yourself deeply and to feel grounded and present through the highs and lows of life. I can help you get there. With compassion and non-judgment, we can explore your inner world and help you find relief and build your resiliency towards the challenges in life. I look forward to embarking on this path with you!
