My Approach to Helping
All humans struggle. It is the human condition. Though, to admit, talk about, work on or through complexities is typically met with resistance. I am open, authentic and experienced. For more than 20 years I have worked with people of all ages with varying troubles. I am calm, kind and down to earth and know from experience that I can gain relief and resolution collaboratively with anyone. I am a psychodynamically trained psychotherapist, which enables me to work with any problems that one may be having; and without a doubt changes for the better happen daily!
I am a Counselor for more than twenty years in a variety of contexts. A graduate of Smith College School for Social Work, the country\\\'s most reputable program for training clinicians. I have two years post-graduate training with NYU\\\'s School of Medicine\\\'s Institute for Psychoanalytic Education.
I am warm and real. I connect with people in a way that facilitates comfort and safety making it possible to engage in working to improve, heal and understand one\\\'s life. My office is a cozy, homey space in the West Village. I collaborate when setting the fee.
