My Approach to Helping
With over eighteen years of experience as a child and family therapist, and as a graduate of the University of Utah, specializing in interactive, solution focused, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapies, I am currently serving as a private therapist working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, related issues, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), physical and sexual abuse, autism spectrum issues, and more.
In addition to specializing in the treatment of the above mentioned conditions, I have had significant experience in teaching many relationship-based groups such as; dialectical behavioral therapy, oppositional defiant issues, parenting classes, 123 magic parenting classes, and educational divorce groups.
My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
