How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I have personally experienced postpartum anxiety and parenting concerns. After a 23 year marriage, I found myself getting divorced and being a single parent. I know the pain, worry, anxiety and sadness that these life changes can bring and I have sincere empathy to all who go through life transitions. I am also a breast cancer survivor and can relate to anyone going though a cancer diagnosis. I believe in therapy, as without my own therapist, I wouldn't have been able to get through these struggles! I have been in the position of a client and found that therapy helps you grow, no matter how much information you think you know!
