My Approach to Helping
Working with me means partnering with a therapist who embodies a warm and empathetic approach. I utilize an integrative person centered approach including but not limited to Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I focus on building rapport with you by meeting you exactly where you are emotionally, cognitively, mentally and spiritually. I work diligently to co-create a confidential and non-judgmental space for you. Together, we address issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, providing you with tools for positive change. My goal is to create a safe space for growth and healing.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
As a first-generation immigrant daughter, I witnessed the profound impact of gender roles on my life. It influenced how I approached relationships and made me acutely aware of the glass ceiling faced by women, particularly those of Black or Brown heritage. This realization spurred me to challenge stereotypes, break barriers, and address intergenerational trauma. My purpose is to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to break free from unhealthy thought patterns by promoting choice, humility, and self-acceptance. These principles define my unique approach to making a difference.
