My Approach to Helping
Over my decade as a therapist, I have worked with various clients, focusing on grief and loss stemming from life changes and transitions. I believe that our life experiences shape who we are, and to feel whole, we need to examine different parts of ourselves. I help you explore these aspects by assisting you in crafting and narrating your own life story.
While I have a strong passion for working with teens and young adults, I am confident in my ability to support individuals at all stages of life. I also acknowledge the impact of trauma on these narratives and believe in the importance of healing from trauma. My goal is to help you navigate your own path.
Therapy can be one of the most powerful, terrifying, and enlightening experiences. I see my role as a therapist as one of empathy and guidance, helping you find your own empowerment. I strive to be an engaged and curious therapist, asking thoughtful questions to create a safe environment for you. I often use humor to help us face the difficulties we encounter together.
This is your journey, and I am here as a guide, utilizing connection, knowledge, and humor to support you along the way. I would love to set up a consultation call or a first appointment to answer any questions or help you begin your therapeutic journey.
