My Approach to Helping

Hi, I’m so glad you’ve found my page. Realizing that you can’t keep going the way you are is the first step toward change. Whether it’s depression, anxiety, persistent mental health issues, or trauma—together we can understand what’s happened for you and where you would like to be. I’d love to work with you to create lasting and meaningful change in your life. I work with individuals ranging from 12 years old and up. I also take couples, polyamorous formations, and families. I serve all LGBTQ populations as well as women, men, trans, GNC, and non-binary folks. Therapy starts with a 15-minute phone consultation, so give a call and let's talk!

My therapy style is deeply warm and empathetic while also challenging and direct. I believe that your best life is waiting, and together we can discern what you need to get there. I tend to work in a Psychodynamic way, bringing in Mindfulness skills and Somatic body-based experiences. We'll look at your past while also crafting a vision for your future.

Whatever is happening for you, therapy with me is a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental place to open up. It's a place to take a breath, and let down some of what you're carrying. It's a place to uncover new spaces within yourself. If you're interested in setting goals, exploring what's happening for you, and creating change, you've come to the right place!

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

Therapy is an experience unlike any other! It's strange, vulnerable, enlightening, and daunting sometimes. I like to normalize all of those emotions and make space for them all. If you're looking to deepen your self-awareness, understand your patterns and coping mechanisms, and begin to choose different ways of being, therapy is for you.
