My Approach to Helping

I am a seasoned therapist specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-Informed EMDR, Brainspotting and attachment. I help adults heal from the wounds of childhood trauma and provide compassionate support to college students navigating academic and personal challenges. Specifically, I love helping people learn ways to experience calm and relaxing moments, develop an understanding of feelings and why you do what you do, build a stronger sense of trust and connection to yourself and others, heal from painful past experiences including childhood trauma, grow in your ability to handle strong emotions, and expand your confidence, courage, and compassion to be your true self. I value the diversity of the human nervous system and utilize somatic approaches to support healing. This provides individualized support that combines evidence-based approaches to address various mental health challenges and promote personal growth. Providing a way to regulate your emotions and improve your problem solving skills, can have implications in every area of your life from relationships, to career performance and even athletic and artistic performance. Together, we'll create a collaborative, safe, and exploratory therapeutic space, utilizing an integrated approach that goes beyond talk therapy.
