My Approach to Helping
I believe therapy has the potential to give us the power and tools to build the life we want for ourselves. Together we explore the past, present relationships and experiences which influence our thoughts and actions. As your therapist I guide you through life obstacles, past trauma, negative thoughts that hinder progress and undermine your confidence.
I offer a safe nonjudgmental space to explore your world and mindset. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is evidence-based psychotherapy recognized to help recover from trauma, grief, anxiety, and other disorders. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Therapy.
