My Approach to Helping
Monique Martinez understands that life’s hurdles require a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental approach. She believes in every person’s unique potential and works to foster well-being by meeting clients where they are on their path toward healing and growth. By creating a safe, supportive space, Monique encourages clients to embrace their strengths while providing them with tools to advance on their journey. Through authentic, meaningful conversations, she nurtures a deep, supportive therapeutic relationship, grounded in respect and understanding.
Monique is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills. Since 2013, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals overcome challenges, beginning with mentoring at-risk youth and providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to young children. Her commitment to helping others led her to pursue an advanced degree, where she developed expertise in supporting individuals with disabilities. Monique’s extensive experience includes working with children, youth, and adults, along with supporting families in crisis, providing reunification therapy, and offering parenting counseling.
