My Approach to Helping

My clients often express feeling frustrated by patterns getting in the way of the life they want. Maybe your schedule is demanding and unpredictable, making a weekly therapy appointment feel overwhelming or Maybe you feel like you need more help and more quickly. The idea of spending months or years in talk therapy makes it feel impossible to ever feel better.

I believe you deserve to feel empowered, at peace, and fully alive. I understand trauma is not just what happened to you; trauma is the lasting impact of what happened to you. While we can't change the past, we can change how it continues to affect you today. Working with me, you will work to:

Get unstuck from negative patterns
Develop self-confidence
Overcome default habits and addictions
Reduce anxiety, depression and stress
Move toward healing with childhood, relational and sexual trauma
Improve your sense of self and your relationships
Experience Post-traumatic healing and growth

I am available to see clients virtually in Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. I also work with clients from anywhere in the United States and world when they travel to do an in-person EMDR intensive retreat with me in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Whether you're new to therapy or seeking a fresh approach, we might be a fit! Reach out to me today.

Groups I Work With

Morgan’s clients are adults seeking a flexible way to receive therapeutic support that is different from the traditional model of weekly or biweekly long-term psychotherapy. Sometimes they have a traditional therapis they enjoy working with but two things keep coming up for them: (1) Your schedule is demanding and unpredictable, making a weekly therapy appointment feel overwhelming. (2) You feel like you need more help and more quickly. The idea of spending months in talk therapy makes it feel impossible to ever feel better.

My clients are busy adults who experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, CPTSD, ADHD, obsessions and compulsions, relationship issues, past trauma and attachment wounds, and use of substances, people-pleasing, work, relationships, etc.

They are often looking to heal from the effects of:

-growing up as a child of an alcoholic or dysfunctional family
    -cultural or generational trauma
    -stressful or traumatic life events

I also might be a good fit for you if you've been in talk therapy for awhile but you would like to try more somatic and creative therapy approaches in a retreat setting.
