My Approach to Helping
Myroslav Rosky is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works predominantly with members of the LGBTQIA+ community in their struggles with trauma, acceptance, self-efficacy, and self-actualization. He also has broad clinical experience with substance use disorders, aiding individuals and their families in building resilient foundations for long-term recovery. His approach is dynamic, solution-focused, and collaborative. My approach is dynamic, solution-focused, and collaborative. My client population is predominantly, but not exclusively, made up of individuals with substance use disorders and LGBTQIA+-related concerns.
Collaborative. I meet my clients where they are. I disclose, with careful discernment, my own experience when I determine that it benefits the client. To mutually assist others and myself in managing the existential givens of our human condition. An initial and mutual assessment to see whether we can create a successful therapeutic alliance.
