My Approach to Helping

I obtained my Master’s degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, 117210 in the State of California and practice only in California. I also hold a Licensed Master Social Worker, 109755 in the State of New York. I am a Certified Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist and utilize mindfulness in collaboration with my clients as warranted. I specialize in complex trauma and trauma focused substance misuse; specifically, I specialize treating feelings of internal loneliness, feelings of "never being enough”, “being too much”, and “I can’t be myself".

I invite you to reach and begin this journey into clarity and understanding. It takes desire and curiosity to begin knowing your true self. This journey will consist of many emotions, uncomfortable moments of awareness, and tears. But it is through the desire for something different that we choose to embark on such an adventure.

More Info About My Practice

Imagine a world where you like who you truly are at the core. A world where you no longer worry about the judgement of others. This is that door. I invite you to walk though it together. This is psychotherapy for adults who are looking for longevity in therapy and longing to heal the origin of their pain; for those in search of completely changing their life. When you're tired of being tired and have tried other options that seem to come back to the same end, this is the beginning of something

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

I strongly believe in open curiosity paired with synergy, which is a bedrock to a trust-based relationship. I aspire to aid you in building on your own strengths and learn additional skills that empower you to better manage life's challenges. I believe that through the here-and-now process Irvin Yalom developed, the core of a trust-based relationship is working together and being open to the journey. This is true vulnerability, in real-time. The outside world can melt away and this becomes your space that your emotions can fill. Nothing too heartbreaking, too much, too big, too painful, too loud, too joyful, or exuberant can lead me away from witnessing your journey alongside you. I believe together we can come to fully understand you better through growing your awareness. There will be moments of tears, great anger, feelings of betrayal, and finally relief. This is what I know will be as we work together.
