My Approach to Helping
Here to walk alongside people as they navigate through the various challenges of life.
Life is hard! Whether it be due to depression, anxiety, school, work, life transitions, grief, break-ups, and a host of other issues, there’s no way of denying this universal reality. And while our challenges may currently put a cloud over everything we do, I believe that these obstacles do not need to define us, and that there is a path forward towards greater health and wholeness. To get to this desired destination, I create a safe space where I partner with my clients to identify and address the difficulties that they face and collaboratively create goals and outcomes that they would like to see in their lives.
I work from a person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) base but also incorporate different approaches to best serve the needs of my clients. I work with individuals from the ages of 13 and up. Areas that I am particularly passionate about are anxiety, depression, guiltshame, ADHD, interpersonal conflicts, and issues around faith and spirituality.
