My Approach to Helping
I pull from multiple theoriesapproaches to counseling, all depending on what you, the client, need. I also take a collaborative approach, meaning that we work together to establish the goalsdirection that you desire for your sessions. This means that I also explain what we're doing as we do it, in order to help you feel as though you are actively participating in the process, rather than having counseling "done to you". It would be an honor to sit with you and work with you, helping you establish the health that you needdeserve in your life.
More Info About My Practice
In my own personal journey, I have had to work though crippling anxiety, which included a hospital visit due to panic attacks. I know how terrifying it can feel to experience this, as well as seasons of depression.
I have also experienced relational difficulty in my life, with a need to learn about myself and how I interact with others, leading to healing and health in my relationships. I understand how hopeless this can feel at times, and how difficult the road to health can seem.
I have experienced life-changing healinggrowth, and I have a passion to help you do the same. If you are ready, it would be an honor to help you get there.
My Therapy Focus
My focus in therapy is you, the client. I don't use the same approach for every client because every client is unique with unique goals. We will work together to determine the appropriate approach for you, and we will hold it with an open hand, allowing you space to speak into how you feel the approach is working for you.
