My Approach to Helping
Have you ever tried to "take a break" and then found the voice in your head telling you about all the things you "should" be doing? When the pressures of life get to be too overwhelming we tend to put ourselves last. So many of my clients get caught up in meeting everyone else's needs that they start to feel burned out - they might even be feeling resentful. Yet, they think "but my life isn't that bad" or "other people have it so much worse, so I feel like I should just be happy." If you are living a life that is taking too much from you and you need to find some balance and rest, you have come to the right place.
I want to help you learn to set boundaries and say "no" without feeling consumed with guilt or worry. I know it is hard to prioritize yourself, but it can start with one hour each week that is focused only on you and your needs. It really is possible to reshape your life and live in a more balance way that allows room for you to take care of yourself too.
