My Approach to Helping
Do people tell you that you worry too much? Are you struggling with a difficult relationship? Do you have mornings when you just don't want to get out of bed? Or do you spend so much time caring for others that it feels impossible to find the time to take care of yourself? No matter what challenge you are facing, you are welcome here.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I specialize in helping people navigate tricky situations, anxiety, depression, relationships, life stress, and recovery from trauma. Clearing up emotional distress through psychotherapy can help you find solutions to problems, provide a sense of safety and warmth, increase your self-confidence, help you find more meaning in life, and improve all of your relationships.
My Role as a Therapist
A good therapist pays attention to your needs and will meet you wherever you happen to be on your life journey. My approach is holistic, honoring the mind-body connection and individual strengths. My style is warm, honest and nonjudgmental, and my practice draws from psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, and attachment-based neuroscience.
