My Approach to Helping
It takes a lot of courage to face parts of ourselves that have felt alone, inadequate, ashamed, or confused. As a holistic and relational therapist, my passion lies in supporting individuals and couples regain a sense of wholeness by compassionately inquiring into the past experiences, traumas, and relationships that may have brought them here. Together, we will foster a supportive environment where strength in vulnerability can flourish, allowing you safely lower your walls and embrace your fullest Self while softly letting go of what is no longer serving you and moving into deeper, more authentic, transformative growth and healing.
Using an affirmative and non-pathologizing approach I honour that no two journeys are alike. I completed a MEd in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto and have experience and education in Integrative Couples & Sex Therapy, Psychodynamic, Emotion-Focused & Attachment-theory, Narrative, and trauma-informed mind-body approaches (i.e., somatic and mindfulness-based).
Collaboratively, we can re-discover what it means to be empowered in your body, relationships, and the world around you. I offer individual, couples, and sex therapy to help clients work through relationship and intimacy issues, complex trauma, complicated family dynamics, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and self-esteem.
