My Approach to Helping
I hope and strive for a world where people are treated with kindness, respect, and dignity. As a therapist, I seek to provide a supportive atmosphere where you can feel comfortable discovering and being your true self. I help my clients process their past experiences, challenge defeating thought patterns, uncover their natural strengths, find self-acceptance and healing, make choices they can take pride in, and discover connection in a world that can feel isolating. I am empathetic, genuine, and nonjudgmental. My approach is conversational and warm. Through our work together, my hope is that you feel comfortable sharing your story. We will explore past experiences to understand how they may be showing up in current relationships with others and in your relationship with yourself. I offer insights based on psychoeducation and incorporate therapy techniques based on your goals. In our sessions together, we will come to a greater understanding of your inner struggles and I will assist you in developing tools that you can use on your journey towards personal growth. Your needs will guide the therapy process.
