My Approach to Helping
If you are browsing these pages, it is likely you are facing some questions that you would like answered. You can find relief and answers by seeking the support that is right for you.
I take a positive, non-judgmental, person-centered approach to healing, and I work with adults who are asking questions about sexuality, life or career.
Through my work I discovered how fulfilling and satisfying life can be, when one is connected with and aligned to his or her own Essence. I define Essence as the unique combination of all the life forces that keep us alive. I focus primarily on rediscovering and reconnecting you with your inner life forces, and I have learned that when this happens, change happens.
To achieve this I use the past to teach us lessons, the future to guide decisions and the present to take action; mindfulness is key to my work.

Dr OM opened in Singapore 2015 to serve the local community on all their relationship and sexuality challenges.
Intrigued by the secrets of the mind, Dr Oberdan first qualified as a psychologist over 15 years ago and worked both in corporate and private settings to support individuals, couples and groups to rediscover their innate power for productivity, creativity and service.
Today, the clinic has evolved to offer a broader range of services, eventually establishing itself as a respected, reputable, and trusted place for healing. It has grown to serve a diverse clientele from over 50 countries, who present life challenges ranging from stress, anxiety and depression, to the specialised sexual and relational ones experienced in silence by many.
We welcome clients from any walk of life, and look forward to continue growing as a valuable service provider to our local and international communities.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
It is important that you choose someone that is right for you.
Your circumstances are unique and so is the concept of right therapist. In general, these are a few of the things I would recommend to clients who are looking for support:
- be clear with the reasons why you are looking for help
- establish a few important criteria by which you would consider a professional to be suitable
- do some preliminary online research
- ask people you trust for recommendations
- shortlist 2 or 3 professionals
- call them and directly ask questions to satisfy your chosen criteria
This should increase the chances to find the professional that is "right" for you. And remember, if after your first meeting you feel this was the wrong decision, look for someone else.
