My Approach to Helping

**Welcome! I’m Ori Gutin**

Taking the first step toward seeking help can feel overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge your courage in starting this journey. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults aged 15-30, though I welcome anyone over 15 who is looking to better understand themselves and their path forward. Whether you’re feeling stuck, weighed down by anxiety or depression, or searching for meaning and purpose, I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and direction.

I take an existential therapeutic approach, which means I’m deeply interested in helping you explore the "why" behind your experiences and choices, understand how your past shapes your present, and empower you to create a life that aligns with your values. Together, we’ll embark on a three-step process to guide your growth:

1. **Understand and Accept**
We’ll begin by exploring your past and bringing clarity to how it influences your current reality. This deeper understanding will help uncover the internal and external obstacles you’re facing. Through this work, you’ll learn to truly accept and confront the challenges that are holding you back, paving the way for meaningful growth.

2. **Connect and Visualize**
Once we’ve built this foundation, we’ll focus on clarifying and connecting to your core values and envisioning the life you want to lead. Together, we’ll dream boldly about the future you desire, creating a vision that feels authentic and inspiring.

3. **Empower and Thrive**
Lastly, we’ll work to empower you to make intentional, value-driven choices that align with your vision. This step is about moving from insight to action, creating a life filled with meaning and purpose. Along the way, I’ll provide unwavering support, warmth, and accountability to help you navigate successes and setbacks alike.

I’m particularly passionate about working with individuals who feel lost, disconnected, or unsure of their path forward. My goal is to help you build resilience, rediscover hope, and find a sense of purpose in your life—no matter what challenges you’re facing.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we can create a space where you feel empowered to heal, grow, and thrive.

Warmly,
Ori
