My Approach to Helping
I specialize in women's mental health, combining evidenced-based interventions with a holistic health approach and a non-judgmental environment. I can help you with: low mood and sadness, feelings of stress and anxiety, low self-worth or negative body image, relationship issues with partner, family or friends, fertility and pregnancy difficulties, motherhood & caregiving challenges, trauma from domestic violence, sexual abuse, etc. sexual problems such as lack of desire or difficulty reaching orgasm, challenges with hormone-related conditions including PMS, PMDD, PCOS and menopause.
I focus on women because of the existing treatment gap: our needs are often misdiagnosed and undertreated. I believe in a holistic approach, that looks at wellbeing from a physical, mental, social and spiritual perspective, and I apply the intervention methods that have been scientifically researched and proven to work (CBT, ACT, CFT, etc.)
