My Approach to Helping
I honor each individual's unique characteristics and strengths. In that spirit, I tailor my methods to the unique needs of the client - utilizing cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic, and humanistic modes. I am warm, encouraging and a strong motivator.
My extensive background as a psychiatric social worker helps me to advocate for my clients and has provided me with special skills and life experiences that I bring to my psychotherapy practice.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love helping my clients realize their potential by getting in touch with the essence of who they are. We need to discard the myths that we have developed and accepted about ourselves. It is exciting to see people of any age bring about change in their lives and patterns of thinking.
What Makes up a Problem?
I believe in the principle of "nurture through nature". We are all born with a particular temperament and genetic makeup. But these factors alone do not determine our future or our emotional strength. Early and later life experiences and nurturing are essential influences in our lives.
