My Approach to Helping

Hi. I am doing Telehealth only. I have been licensed for 28 years.

Are you in pain or feeling lost and stuck? Do you feel depressed or anxious too much of the time? Are you having difficulty talking to others about your feelings, doubts, insecurities, and fears? Personal growth takes time, effort, and collaboration. I create a safe and trusting relationship with you, and together, we will work to improve your self-acceptance and self-worth. I will give you the tools to make changes within yourself and to encourage shifts in the way you think so that you can live a more authentic, courageous, and meaningful life.

My approach is called client-centered where I focus on your needs. I am highly supportive and empathetic. I listen without judgment as you share. I am committed to helping you get through anything you need support for and will give you the tools and insight to help you cope more effectively in your life. I will encourage shifts in the way you think.

If you are looking for a dedicated, empathetic, and insightful therapist, who is non-judgmental, and provides what Carl Rogers calls, unconditional positive regard, I’m the right therapist for you.

More Info About My Practice

I really like telehealth as a form of therapy after doing in-person for over 25 years. It’s up closer and personal. I’ve enjoyed how effective and warm it can be. Telehealth allows us both to be very focused as well as connected.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

I think we find that we all need guidance and a confidante that we can talk about anything with and not feel judged, through those critical times, through phases of our life, to have something to return to during difficult periods, who we trust to treat us gently. Someone who is there just for us. It?s such a special relationship for both of us.
