My Approach to Helping

I work from a compassionate, non-judgemental, client-centered perspective. I believe that the unique rapport that develops between client and therapist is one of the major components of emotional and psychological healing. Creating a therapeutic environment in which you--the client--can feel safe and explore your feelings is my primary objective.

My Role as a Therapist

As a therapist, my role is to accompany you on your journey of self-discovery. I aim to help you to find your own authentic path in life and relationships and give you tools to deal with the inherent challenges of being human. My job as therapist is to point out places that you may not see, examine patterns of behavior or ways of thinking that may not be serving you well and help you explore and resolve problems that get in your way. My approach is supportive and collaborative, with an awareness of and sensitivity to your struggles, goals and hopes.
