My Approach to Helping

Hello! I offer a non-judgmental environment where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings. With a strong focus on building trust and understanding, they are committed to supporting you through life’s challenges. I am dedicated to collaborative exploration and empowerment ensures you’ll find guidance and growth on your journey towards self-discovery.

As a counseling intern, I’m dedicated to creating a safe, understanding environment where folks can delve into their deepest thoughts and feelings. Using a person-centered approach, I focus on nurturing trusting connections with my clients. I’m particularly passionate about assisting clients as they face issues like anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem, or adjusting to life changes. Whatever you’re dealing with, I’m here to walk alongside you. I strongly believe in the strength of teamwork and empowerment, helping individuals find their own path to self-awareness and development.

I have worked in residential, community mental health, and school-based therapy settings, providing support to children, adolescents, and families facing various challenges. I strive to empower and uplift every client I encounter, I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and encourage clients to recognize their strengths and abilities. I utilize a range of counseling modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, group counseling, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, while also tailoring treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual. Having devoted 21 years in service to our country, I now bring the principles, education, and acquired successes from that experience into every counseling session.
