My Approach to Helping
At times, life can be difficult when we are thrown that unexpected curveball. Many of us can sometimes feel stuck and think the rest of the world is passing us by. If you need to talk or get some things off your chest, I am here to listen and provide strategies that offer results and a sense of comfort. As a Psychotherapist and Social Worker, I provide psychotherapy to adolescents and adults while also offering highly supportive clinical supervision to graduate students and new practitioners. Offering in-person sessions in Etobicoke and Hamilton and virtual services throughout Ontario and Newfoundland. Sliding scale available.
In a friendly and comfortable environment, Peter addresses such areas as depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, anger management, and self-esteem. Peter believes that our existing reactions and struggles derive from issues that are unresolved from our past. Peter further believes a comfortable rapport is essential in order for therapy to be beneficial.
Peter completed his Masters degree in Mental Health Counselling from Medaille University in Buffalo, New York. Peter’s twenty five years of experience derives from working with psychiatric and dual diagnosed individuals. Peter is a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO and a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW.
