My Approach to Helping
I specialize in working with Emotional Dysregulation, Trauma (in all its forms), Burnout, Chronic Pain (including Fibromyalgia), and the Perinatal Period. I also have extensive experience supporting clients through the challenges of ADHD, ‘Personality Disorders’, Anxiety, Depression, and Attachment Issues.
In my experience, the foundations for mental health begin with emotional regulation, stress management and self-acceptance. From here, we can explore the inner landscape, develop self-awareness, sink down deep roots of purpose and get to a place where you feel confident with yourself and satisfied with your life.
My approach is individually tailored to the circumstances, interests and goals of each client, but I am informed by and often employ tools from the following psychotherapeutic modalities and theories: Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Minfulness-Based Strategies and Nature-Based Approaches.

My therapeutic approach is Humanistic, Holistic and Existential.
To describe this approach, I like to paint a picture:
Humanistic means you are the expert on the land and you make the decisions on the destinations. I am the humble mapmaker, bringing you tools to navigate your journey.
Holistic means that I am trained to find trailheads and encourage sightseeing into mind, body, relationships and spirit.
Mind: I use Parts Work to find patterns, build self-awareness and strategize to challenge the parts that feel unhelpful or damaging to your life.
Body: I use Somatic Experiencing and Mindfulness to process trauma and enhance emotional regulation.
Relationships: I use Attachment Theory to explore interpersonal patterns, needs and boundaries.
Spirit: I use Inner Child Work, Nature-Based and other playful approaches to reconnect you with your lifeforce (especially related to feeling joy and belonging).
Existential means that, as we build your inner field-guide, I am always looking to highlight those beautiful scenic views of meaning, purpose and direction.
These processes, and more, will support you through your deep healing journey and provide templates for the soul work required to access your intuition and unlearn the stories that keep you stuck.
