My Approach to Helping
None of us are able to escape transition. Our relationships change, our families change, our environments change, and our bodies change. Whether the change we experience is welcome, abrupt, devastating, or a mix of many feelings, we must leave the familiar when it comes. Growth happens when we walk forward and integrate our new awareness and adapt to the new era that we are entering. Sometimes this growth needs more support than we anticipate. Flourishing is possible, but we can feel stuck in our journey to get to it.
I want to understand you. We are beautifully complex individuals embedded in families and communities. Dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression damages our relationship with our own bodies and our communities. Integrating your unique story, views, and relational landscape means that we are able to better work together to create positive change.
Here\'s the deal. I am so proud of you for being HERE - for believing that things can be better and having the hope that in meeting with me, or another professional, you can find help. My desire is to create an environment where you can be heard and understood. As we sort through the hurt, I believe that your hope gives you the best start.
