My Approach to Helping
I work with adults of all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, stress associated with trauma, grief loss, relationship problems, and life transitions related to aging and older adulthood. My belief is that when people move towards approaching their painful experiences with compassion and curiosity it allows space for making meaningful changes in their lives. In our work together, you will be provided with a supportive environment that honors safety and acceptance. Collaboratively, we will explore healthy strategies for dealing with stress that are consistent with your goals and values.
My experience includes working with individuals living with anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, grief & stress related to aging. I offer insight-oriented therapy & my treatment approach is informed by evidence-based practices such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic & mindfulness approaches.
