My Approach to Helping

I approach therapy committed to providing the care I would want for someone I love. I bring over 18 years experience helping individuals and couples in Connecticut and New York explore their concerns in a warm, collaborative, and respectful environment. It is truly an honor to witness clients' growth and development.

I have received special training in trauma-informed treatment and have cultivated much experience working with clients from a variety of ethnic, racial, cultural, spiritual, and international backgrounds. I also have extensive experience with a variety of relationship styles, sexual orientations, gender identities and practice LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy. Overall, I believe you will find my approach open, flexible, and engaging.

I am an out-of-network provider but for those who cannot use their insurance, I also offer a sliding scale services

Theoretical Influences that Guide My Work

I am integrative and holistic in my approach to mental health and offer clients information on the mind-body connection; how we care and treat our bodies directly affects our mental health and how we feel emotionally directly affects how we feel physically. I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach, but work collaboratively with clients to establish the direction and pace of our work together.
