My Approach to Helping
I’ll help you work through the tightness in your chest, the "mehs," the "ughs," and those repetitive mental loops. Together, we’ll explore these in a focused and intentional way, actively working to transform them. I bring over 18 years of experience as a full-time therapist, working from a Gestalt orientation, and I’m certified in EMDR therapy. I’m a good fit if you’re looking for active, hands-on sessions and are open to trying new approaches.
I’ll offer you suggestions and activities during our sessions to help you build deeper awareness and self-perception skills—going beyond simply recognizing your thoughts and feelings to create a foundation for meaningful change. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your emotional capacity and actively shift and transform your thoughts and feelings.
