My Approach to Helping
I use elements of CBT and client-centered approaches with an emphasis on self-compassion. I offer a free initial 15-minute consultation. Our first couple of sessions will be information gathering and discussing treatment goals. Moving forward, I meet the clients where they’re at emotionally and use talk therapy to help them meet those goals.
Self-compassion is vital to well-being and I speak about it frequently. I have a warm and open vibe about me, swear frequently, and use levity where appropriate.
