My Approach to Helping
I became a therapist because I deeply believe in the power of understanding and acceptance. Growing up in a community where mental health was often stigmatized, I witnessed the profound need for compassionate care. As a woman of color who has lived and studied abroad, I understand the complexities of navigating different cultures and identities. My mission is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be your true self. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, heal from past wounds, and build the resilience to thrive. My goal is to empower you to embrace your unique story and find strength in your diversity.
More Info About My Practice
As a therapist, my approach is rooted in compassion, inclusivity, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practices. With three years of experience working with organizations supporting immigrants and survivors of domestic violence, I have developed a deep understanding of trauma and resilience. My work on a suicide prevention research team further strengthened my dedication to supporting individuals in crisis. I am passionate about creating a safe, affirming space for all, including LGBTQ+ individuals. Outside of therapy, I’m involved in animal rescue, particularly caring for cats, reflecting my belief in nurturing environments for all. My goal is to guide clients through their unique journeys with empathy, respect, and proven tools for healing and growth.
