My Approach to Helping
I take an integrative approach to therapy, blending pastoral, psychodynamic, and interpersonal frameworks to help clients navigate challenges and reach their goals. I work best with individuals who feel stuck in relationships, faith, career, or emotional patterns and are seeking deeper understanding, healing, and meaningful change. Many of my clients long for authentic connection, greater self-acceptance, and clarity around their life’s purpose. I believe healing happens through genuine connection and meaningful relationships, and I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
For over 10 years, I’ve worked in social services in a variety of roles from case management to administration, and spent several years as the Director of Counseling Services for a large, multicultural congregation in Chicago. These experiences have shaped my deep respect for the diverse paths people take toward healing and growth.
I see the therapy hour as a sacred space, a time set apart for reflection and honesty, My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you feel supported, valued, and free to be your authentic self as we navigate life’s challenges together.
