More Info About My Practice

I studied Psychology and Psychotherapy at the University, which helped me learn and understand what the Masters taught.
Then I began studying Buddhist Psychology and attending Meditation retreats. I attended 10 day retreats every 6 months, then attending a 90 day meditation retreat. In 1996 I embarked on a residential 20 month period of meditation attaining a deep level of realization. This allowed me to integrate both Western and Eastern Psychology into my therapy practice, which I now share with my clients. The result is that people move much faster and successfully in their healing journey.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Everyone gets wounded in this life. The deepest and most pervasive wounds come during early childhood (0-5.5 yrs.), then childhood (5.5-10 yrs) and typically both. Adults don't remember much of early childhood because these are pre-verbal years, there is little to no language. Sometimes adults have some memory or snapshots, but most is unconscious. That doesn't mean we weren't impacted on the emotional levels. Young children contact the world around them with their feelings. The question becomes "was I wanted, supported, loved...or not?" Was the living environment safe or chaotic, or both? On a deeper level we all remember. Recovering the ages from 0-10 is the deepest form of healing. The therapist who can do this kind of "depth work" have necessarily done their own inner work. That's who you want to work with.
