My Approach to Helping
At times in life getting past challenges can be a difficult process. In order to overcome these challenges, we may need the guidance and support of a skilled professional. I have over 10 years of experience providing clinical counseling in mental health facilities, school settings, and private practice. Currently, I provide teletherapy via a HIPAA compliant platform to help clients take the steps to better manage life’s challenges. When clients learn to effectively manage persistent challenges – they understand better…they feel better…they perform better.
As your therapist, I am here to support you in making meaning, creating comfort, and uncovering resources to help you be your best self. Utilizing an evidenced-based, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and client-centered approach, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where we can collaborate and work at your own pace to enhance self-development.
Counseling allows you to process your feelings and often leads to solutions to specific problems, better relationships, and relief from feelings of distress.
