My Approach to Helping
I work in collaboration with you and help you find yourself. My training in Somatic Experience (3 years to become an SEP), EMDR-certified, and NARM second level helps me help you with PTSD and complex-PTSD. My love for humanity and helping others provides you with a real sense of connection in your life. My ideal client is someone who is open to the process of growth and someone who has the capacity to be true to themselves. I support you during transitional life situations and help with coaching and teaching you how to regulate your nervous system. I utilize my training as a Somatic Experience Practitioner, certified EMDR therapist, and NARM therapist, and Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to help connect and work with you to understand why you may keep doing the same things and following the same patterns of self-destruction. I utilize my 26 years of being clean and sober and my full education and experience as a Licensed Addiction and Substance Abuse Counselor to help you direct your life away from alcohol and drugs. Clients come to me when they have problems with the lives they have created for themselves. My solution-focused style utilizes my years of experience in four different career industries, my natural intuition, and love of helping others.
