My Approach to Helping
Maybe people accuse you of being paranoid when really they are at fault. Maybe you are hearing talking or having other unusual experiences, that are freaking you out or stopping you getting things done. Maybe you are concerned for a loved one, who seems to be experiencing these things and you don't know how to help? You are not alone! I will hear you out and begin to help you make sense of what is happening. I use a therapy called Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy which has been proven to be effective for this, giving you tools to manage stressors yourself without having to be in therapy for ever.
You will begin to learn strategies to help feel calmer and more safe. We will figure out what is getting in the way of your goals and how to overcome those obstacles (or survive them). I will not tell you that you are sick, wrong or bad. You will feel understood.
