My Approach to Helping

I believe people are more than the sum of things that have happened to them or the challenges they face, and the core of my practice centers on collaborating with you to help you find a way forward. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself; a space where your own personal story, life experiences, values, and beliefs are accepted and valued.

Using a holistic, culturally sensitive, strengths-based approach, I specialize in adult ADHD, traumaPTSD, life changes and adjustments, anxiety, social anxiety, worklife balance, self-esteem, attachment styles, assertiveness and boundary setting skills, and self-confidence. I tailor a variety of techniques to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Reaching out is the next step forward, and I would be honored to work with you. I invite you to contact me to set up a time for us to connect where I can answer any questions you may have, share with you what you can expect getting started, and coordinate a time for your first session. Email is best for a faster response. I look forward to hearing from you!

More Info About My Practice

Prior to counseling, I have gained experience in the helping field working in a variety of settings with children, college students, women, men, homeless individuals, homeless veterans, and low-income seniors. For me, becoming a therapist was the next step in working with people on a more individual level to collaborate on specific challenges they are facing and assisting them to move towards the change they desire in their life.
