My Approach to Helping
I'm Sara Kamin, a Toronto-based psychotherapist offering relational psychotherapy for individuals and couples.
I hope to create with you a safe space in which you can discuss life's challenges with a caring therapist. I offer empathic and relational listening, a chance to explore without judgment, respectful challenge, interactive engagement, and a collaborative therapeutic process.
My work is informed by a holistic approach that respects the interconnected nature of the human experience and human relationships. We'll work together to explore the psychological, physical, sociocultural, emotional, spiritual, systemic and historical factors that impact your life.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
People seek psychotherapy for many reasons. Some need help with specific problems, such as anxiety and depression, while others hope to boost energy, vitality, and quality of life. Some struggle to face painful pasts or personal trauma, while others feel tapped in patterns that inhibit their fulfillment and authentic connection with others.
Therapy can be a rewarding experience that offers a nonjudgmental, safe, private space to talk through things. This allows clients to experience better relationships, release from painful physical and emotional symptoms, greater empowerment and control, a deeper understanding of their feelings, and behaviours, and an improved sense of well-being.
