My Approach to Helping
Life can become challenging for a number of reasons. Reaching out for support is an act of bravery and the first step towards relieving pain and living a more fulfilling life, and I would be honored to be a part of that process. I work with adults, adolescents and couples. Throughout my years of training at UCLA Clinics, The Maple Center, and in private practice, I have worked with a wide variety of issues - including anxiety, OCD, social phobia, panic, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and interpersonalrelational conflict. I am also trained in Emotionally-Focused Couple Therapy (EFT). I offer free phone consultations and after we speak, if it appears that we are not the right fit for any reason, I will provide referrals for other therapists in your area. My main concern is helping you find the support you need and deserve.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Depending on what you are searching for, participating in psychotherapy can have many significant benefits. I am trained in cognitive-behavioral approaches that focus on symptom relief and concrete, measurable goals. I am also trained in longer-term, relational psychotherapy (often referred to as "psychodynamic"), which aims to increase your insight and help you know yourself on a deeper level. Once we truly know ourselves, from the inside out, we can make conscious changes in our lives. While there are never any guarantees, research has shown that therapy has positive outcomes for most people who go through it. Being on this site is your first step towards YOUR goals, whatever they may be...
