My Approach to Helping
I offer individual virtual talk therapy where we meet at a frequency that meets your needs. My main objective is to provide you with a safe space to discuss whatever is bothering you.
My theoretical framework is humanistic and person-centered in nature. In our relationship, you will receive unconditional positive regard, acceptance, and authenticity. I believe that these are the ingredients for creating a secure bond between client and therapist, through which deep exploration can occur.
I feel one of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to see people as they truly are. I find it extremely fulfilling to help my clients develop a more balanced view of themselves, especially those struggling with low self-esteem, low self-worth, or perfectionism. I additionally find it rewarding to support clients who are navigating new changes or endeavors in their lives. These might include break-ups, school, or career endeavors.
